HOLE 8 – Par 4 – Nickname:  “Piney Hole”.

Gold  308, Blue 287, White 280, Green 261, Red 254 

This is a short par 4 that is reachable from the tee, but the risk/reward factor from the tee  is a judgment that each golfer will have to decide for themself.  Buck Creek runs in front of the green and down the right-side fairway and a wooded hill is to the left of the fairway.  So, go for it, but beware the creek and other troubles.  The hole gets its name from a deep hole of water surrounded by pine trees located about 100 yards upstream, once used by local youngsters for swimming and fishing.
