A wide fairway allows for an errant tee shot, but avoid the deep “Hell’s Bunker”down the right-side , and the large bunker on the left of the fairway.  The second shot is across a large pond into a huge green. The nickname comes from this being the starting hole, where matches, games, teammates, etc, are decided.
